Requirements
- BA Degree with 10+ years of relevant experience required
- Must be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office required
- Must have a background in medical devices and mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and/or software required
- 3-5 years’ experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications with a law firm or corporation required
- Must have previous experience in managing patent portfolios, either as in-house or law firm patent counsel required

- Strategic patent portfolio management
- Preparation and prosecution of patent applications
- Product clearance
- Intellectual property due diligence
Preferred Qualifications
- JD with 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background preferred
- Must be able to draft patent applications in coordination with inventors preferred
- Some experience with intellectual property due diligence and product clearance is preferred
- Experience as a Patent Examiner and/or patent searcher is preferred
- Some experience managing a trademark portfolio is preferred
