Requirements
- BS in Computer Science (or equivalent field) with demonstrated ability
- Proven track record in designing and developing backend applications for external customers using strongly typed programming languages
- Prior experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and deploying distributed web services on cloud architecture
- Comfortable working with globally distributed, multi-functional teams
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- All aspects of software development, from design and analysis to development, implementation and maintenance
- Work multi-functionally to implement new product features
- Improve existing features
- Add performance and software quality metrics to the codebase.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience building server-side reusable components, platforms, or capabilities
- Hands on experience using Java (or similar JVM based technology) web-service frameworks and build systems (Bazel, Gradle, etc)
- Proficiency working across micro-services and macro-repos
- Comfortable working on hybrid platform-infra teams serving internal and external customers
