Requirements
- MBA degree with specific coursework in Strategy and Finance
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related fields
- 5+ years of experience in business analytics, economics or strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate finance or strategy
- Proven expertise within the healthcare or digital health industry, across partnerships, joint ventures, minority investment and M&A processes, with focus on growth and innovation
- Strong strategic acumen, analytical and strategic thinking toolkit
- Expert communication and engagement skills to support executive decision-making
- Change catalyst able to engage and mobilize through influence and long-lasting partnerships
Responsibilities
- Leads growth and M&A strategy development initiatives, is a leading voice in the development of Resmed’s growth and M&A strategic agenda
- Identifies industry, market and emerging trends and derives insights and implications for the business
- Evaluates potential opportunities for organic and inorganic expansion and growth
- Is able to lead analysis, contemplate the strategic rationale for M&A opportunities and recommend/evaluate high priority targets
- Identifies priority partnerships and minority venture investment opportunities that drive competitive advantage for Resmed and accelerate profitable growth
- Actively builds market and competitive intelligence both to inform strategic decisions and the wider business development process
- Coordinates the execution of strategic initiatives, develops and tracks implementation plans to ensure the focus and discipline required to achieve goals
