Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of leave laws (FMLA, ADA, etc.) and company policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and process requests for various types of leave (FMLA, ADA, short-term disability, etc.)
  • Provide guidance to colleagues regarding leave policies, procedures, and their rights
  • Review and audit Return to Work process for claims
  • Review medical documentation and other required paperwork to ensure compliance with legal standards
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for colleagues on leave
  • Work with HR, payroll, and management to ensure proper leave administration and return-to-work processes
  • Stay updated on federal, state, and local leave laws to ensure compliance
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of leave requests, approvals, and denials
  • Generate reports on leave trends, usage, and compliance metrics for management

  • Previous experience in case management, HR, or leave administration preferred
