Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and/or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of leave laws (FMLA, ADA, etc.) and company policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and process requests for various types of leave (FMLA, ADA, short-term disability, etc.)
- Provide guidance to colleagues regarding leave policies, procedures, and their rights
- Review and audit Return to Work process for claims
- Review medical documentation and other required paperwork to ensure compliance with legal standards
- Serve as a primary point of contact for colleagues on leave
- Work with HR, payroll, and management to ensure proper leave administration and return-to-work processes
- Stay updated on federal, state, and local leave laws to ensure compliance
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of leave requests, approvals, and denials
- Generate reports on leave trends, usage, and compliance metrics for management
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in case management, HR, or leave administration preferred
