Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Event Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning, corporate communications, or marketing communications.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in event logistics, vendor management, and budget oversight.
- Proficiency with social media platforms, content development, and brand management best practices.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with design and content management tools is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel and work flexible hours, especially during event execution periods.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute company events aligned with organizational goals, including trade shows, conferences, annual Sales Blitz events (2–3 per year), and internal meetings.
- Develop detailed project plans for each event, covering timelines, budgets, vendor sourcing, and supplier negotiations.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, transportation, accommodations, catering, décor, entertainment, and technical requirements.
- Lead regular status meetings with internal stakeholders and business partners to ensure alignment and track progress.
- Manage event marketing efforts and collaborate on the creation of visual assets with the marketing team.
- Develop and implement comprehensive internal and external communications strategies to support organizational initiatives.
- Maintain and grow EJD’s social media presence, particularly on LinkedIn, ensuring content is customer-centric and brand-aligned.
- Create and manage content for internal publications, weekly newsletters, business updates, emails, and executive presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with design and content management tools is a plus.
