Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Must have experience with Python for analytics, SQL for database management, and PowerBI for data visualization and business intelligence.
- Understanding of Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing concepts with knowledge of ETL and Reporting tools
- Experience developing reports and visualizations in a business intelligence tool
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain BI Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Data Integration and Management: Combine data from multiple sources into BI-specific data models, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with Business Partners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- ETL Processes: Develop, implement, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data is accurately and efficiently loaded into BI systems.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize BI solutions for performance and scalability to ensure they meet business needs.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for BI solutions, ensuring they are easily understood and maintained by other team members.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide support for BI solutions, including troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest BI trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend improvements to existing BI solutions.
- Project Participation: Participate in various projects as a BI subject matter expert, contributing to project planning, execution, and post-implementation review.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (one or more of the following: Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, qlikview, TIBCO Spotfire, SAP Business Objects, SAP Crystal Reports)
- Data profiling and modeling skills
- SQL skills
- MS SQL Server
