Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- MBA or CPA preferred
- 4–7 years in financial planning & analysis or similar roles, ideally in a fast-paced or tech-driven environment
- CPA, CFA, CMA, or equivalent credentials are a plus
- Advanced Excel & financial modeling expertise
- Experience with FP&A tools (e.g., Vena); familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and SQL is a plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting standards, and ASC606
- Proven ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong business acumen with a focus on actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and influence without authority
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a dynamic environment
- A proactive problem-solver with a high level of curiosity and initiative.
Responsibilities
- Lead components of the annual plan, quarterly forecasts, and 5-year strategic planning processes.
- Build and manage robust financial models to evaluate business scenarios and investment opportunities.
- Own the monthly reporting package, ensuring accurate reporting across ARR, sales data, and key financial/non-financial KPIs.
- Perform in-depth analysis of actual vs. forecast results; identify key drivers and provide insight-driven commentary for leadership presentations.
- Serve as a trusted finance partner to cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, Product).
- Translate financial data into business insights, helping teams understand the impact of their decisions.
- Develop models around new initiatives, revenue recognition (ASC606), and customer behavior (e.g., redemptions).
- Reconcile and analyze large data sets from multiple systems to support strategic business needs.
- Fulfill financial reports, templates, and analysis requests from corporate and senior management.
