Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 2 years’ experience in engineering, supply chain, or related area
- 4 years’ experience in engineering, supply chain, or related area
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence effectively
- The ability to partner and collaborate while establishing credibility, analyzing stakeholder needs, and responding effectively and efficiently
- Demonstratable business acumen and ownership of project activity
Responsibilities
- Interpret information to quantify the anticipated outcome of supply chain decisions
- Explain operational functions and key functional roles
- Describe the concepts behind engineering economics and implications of financial data
- Plan and estimate simple projects under guidance and produce standard project status reports
- Manage site installation, manage project budgets, ensure site safety standards are upheld, and manage schedule to ensure all milestones are achieved
- Define the critical workflow for executing key processes and identify process problems that limit performance
- Promote the usage of automation machineries and conduct cost-benefit analyses of machineries
- Combine knowledge of automation/system design and learning from previous implementations into a road map
- Create views of objects in 2 and 3 dimensions and participate in projects that modify existing electrical systems
- Leverage data analysis tools to explore moderately complex data and develop and test hypotheses
- Apply data analysis and data modeling techniques to establish, modify, and maintain data structures
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid engineering talent with an excitement for building new approaches to solving automation problems
- Technical background that includes Controls Automation, including Robotics, AR and VR
- Prefer 1 – 3 years of Engineering, construction, and / or automation design and / or implementation
- Experience in Supply Chain fulfillment or distribution ASRS systems is a bonus
- Proven ability to take technologies from prototype to production
- Experience in E-commerce process flow and lifecycle
