Requirements

  • Obtaining BS, MS or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, Data Science or related field
  • Experience with finite element analysis and/or Multiphysics analysis
  • Experience in using scripting languages to automate modeling and simulation pipeline
  • Experience with automated and adaptive meshing techniques
  • Experience with calibration, verification and validation of models through physical testing
  • Experience in metal part design and topology optimization
  • Experience in data collection, manipulation and analysis
  • Experience with advanced manufacturing methods

Responsibilities

  • Leverage creativity and problem-solving skills to architect, develop, and deploy new tools, models, and processes focused on a wide array of physical, technical problems and phenomena related to manufacturing an orbital launch vehicle.
  • Exercise technical judgment in solving engineering challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in aerospace is not required.
