Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 4 or more years of relevant experience
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
- Current/valid passport
- Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment
- Understanding and experience with the practical application of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques
- Progressive experience with inventory databases
- Ability to deploy occasionally, +/- 15-30 days at a time and subject to Program need
- Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare logistics documentation to assist in establishing the pipeline for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals needed are available to be deployed and stocked
- Route, document, and coordinate shipping logistics
- Maintain records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals
- Track logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities
- Ensure shipping activities adhere to state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems
- HazMat Training/Certification
- Ability to operate a Forklift
- Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS
- Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and clean driving record
- Understanding of Shelf Life
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
