Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in supplier management, supply chain, or contracts
- 5+ years of experience in category management or strategic sourcing
- 3+ years of experience collaborating with IT suppliers and negotiating IT contracts
Responsibilities
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, performance, and market offerings
- Develop source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies that satisfy customer needs
- Negotiate long-term agreements (terms and conditions)
- Create and oversee strategic contracts
- Engage in stakeholder and contract lifecycle management
- Support the development and implementation of category strategies
- Demonstrate strong business and financial insight
- Lead and mentor team members, with the ability to identify and enhance their skills
- Recommend and implement supply chain process improvements
- Lead cross functional teams to identify and develop implementation plans for key high value projects
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience negotiating interpreting, editing, and/or and conditions leveraging the support of a Contracts team
- 5+ years of experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements
- Project leadership skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
- Professional verbal and written communication skills frequently leveraged in presenting to executives
- Experience with Ariba
- Institute of Supply Chain Management certifications or other industry certifications
