Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work or educational experience. Advance degree preferred.
  • Typically requires 8 years of relevant experience and 5 years of management experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience leading cross-functional programs/projects that include key third party partnerships.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in establishing and/or managing strategic/executive level business partnerships.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales, project management, business development or strategic alliance management.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in creating and implementing Marketing strategies that meet or exceed program goals.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire and guide a team of relationship managers and marketers to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional results.
  • Design and evolve a playbook for affinity and sponsorship partnerships that aligns with BECU’s growth goals and brand identity.
  • Identify and evaluate potential partners and sponsorships, crafting compelling business cases that highlight mutual value.
  • Deepen relationships with current partners by acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring alignment with shared goals.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans that leverage both BECU and partner assets to drive engagement and growth.
  • Oversee creative strategies that enhance BECU’s image through thoughtful use of partner branding and intellectual property.
  • Use analytics to measure campaign success, optimize strategies, and ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage agreements in collaboration with legal and vendor management teams.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and governance structures that support effective partnership execution.
  • Oversee annual and long-term planning for operational, product, and project budgets related to partnerships.
  • Work cross-functionally to amplify marketing efforts and ensure partner success.
  • Operate with autonomy while aligning with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives forward.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed, always with a focus on impact and innovation.

  • Experience in Financial Services preferred.
