Technical Editor

3+ years of experience as an editor or technical editor
Ability to proofread, edit, and correct text for style and accuracy
Ability to apply IC analytic standards and analytic tradecraft standards as defined in the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203 Analytic Standards, and ICD 206 Sourcing Requirements to the production of all-source intelligence products
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience working in a professional environment or Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience working in a professional environment

Reviewing and revising intelligence or communication products and other documents prepared by DoD analysts for publication
Editing and rewriting products for organization, grammar, style, accuracy, and consistency of technical data
Providing expert technical knowledge of the DIA Style Guide to ensure products conform to agency publication standards
Applying proper classification marks in accordance with IC guidance

Experience with producing or managing the production of technical or analytic products
Experience as a technical editor in an IC organization
Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and ICD 203 tradecraft standards
Possession of excellent organizational and analytical skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
