Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in network engineering, preferably in cellular backhaul or business services environments
  • Familiar with verifying connectivity on routers/switches
  • Strong understanding of Metro Ethernet, NNI, and cross-connect provisioning
  • Excellent project management, documentation, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with LOA processes, fiber plant infrastructure, and network edge technologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of cellular backhaul deployments, from initial planning through to implementation and post-deployment support
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, field services, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment and timely execution
  • Develop and maintain detailed engineering installation documentation, including network diagrams, site readiness checklists, and configuration templates
  • Maintain comprehensive tracking systems for all deployment activities, including timelines, milestones, and risk assessments
  • Provide regular status updates and performance reports to stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible
  • Manage the ordering, provisioning, and tracking of Letters of Authorization (LOAs) for customer cross-connects at national and regional business services edge gateway locations
  • Coordinate with internal provisioning teams and external carriers to ensure timely delivery of Metro Ethernet (Metro E) services
  • Support the expansion of customer connectivity by facilitating inner-facility cross-connects and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for deployment-related inquiries and escalations
  • Facilitate regular coordination meetings and technical reviews with internal and external stakeholders
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and automation opportunities

  • Some combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience
