Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
- Three (3) years of hands-on experience in research, product development, and/or commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Leading and participating in product development and advancing 3M’s product roadmap in CMP.
- Coordinating with manufacturing and quality functions on scale up of new products for the CMP market.
- Conducting factory experiments, troubleshooting manufacturing issues and developing quality metrics and test methods.
- Collecting and analyzing data to validate application specific product performance features.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master or Doctoral degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience with and understanding of polymer processing, mechanics, and chemistry.
- Strong understanding of the semiconductor industry mindset, pace, customer culture, semiconductor process, equipment and materials.
- Ability and willingness to understand the full semiconductor device manufacturing process and applications of 3M semiconductor products.
- Proven commercialization or product implementation experience, with a track record of working with cross functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
