Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree required
- Highly organized, extremely detailed, and control-oriented
- Strong desire to understand the full process and business flow
- Ability to effectively prioritize and re-prioritize “on-the-fly” to meet the competing demands of clients and front office partners
- Proficient in personal computer use and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently (self-motivated and demonstrated leadership abilities) and within a team (strong teamwork skills)
- Ability to assimilate new products and processes quickly
Responsibilities
- Analyze, scrutinize, and upload market data to internal databases for impending trades
- Perform control reconciliations between various internal systems to confirm accurate trading positions and perform root cause analysis on breaks
- Produce management metrics
- Complete operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements
- Manage the pipeline of trades within internal systems, and produce external reporting for sales, purchases, and securitizations
- Communicate with front office, management, clients, and other internal departments to support clients, resolve issues, and respond to inquiries
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools a plus: Alteryx, Computer Assisted Software, Visual Basic for Applications
- Analytical and quantitative aptitude
