Requirements
- Be eligible to work in Canada.
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
- Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
- Knowledge of mechanical drafting, engineering mathematics, geometric tolerancing, manufacturing methods, physics and strength of materials.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.
- Excellent communication skills in French (spoken/written). English is an asset.
- Autonomy, collaboration, teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Support Module Engineers/Design engineers in designing parts or assemblies for testing to measure the parameters of specific regions (temperature, pressure, stresses, etc.)
- Support Engineers with engine gas turbine preparation
- Identify and manage the instrumentation points of Request for Test documents using the naming convention
- Maintain the database of all instrumentation points for a new engine program (CID: Central Instrumentation Database)
- Define and design an instrumentation catalog for a new engine program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CATIA software
- Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities
- Project management skills.
