Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalency
  • Minimum of 2 years inbound/outbound call experience in a customer service or manufacturing environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Previous experience as customer service rep, receptionist, call center agent, data entry clerk, or other similar role
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to analyze problems and solve work related issues
  • Job involves working in front of computer screen
  • Solid attendance and reliable
  • Accountable, quality driven
  • High level of professionalism and solutions based decisions
  • Team oriented with a solution mentality
  • Familiar with MS Word, Excel, Outlook (Microsoft Suite)

Responsibilities

  • Answering inbound phone calls in a professional and helpful manner
  • Making outbound phone calls in response to any inquiries, questions, or other follow up
  • Confirms account number, part number & descriptions
  • Communication to customer on availability, open orders, and ship dates
  • Confirms pricing & availability
  • Answer customer service inquiries, phones or emails as assigned and meets statistical expectations as set by supervisor (refer to grid)
  • Supports administrative duties on sending and receiving supplier purchase orders
  • Ability to multi-task issuing credits and rebills according to policy and procedure
  • Prioritize projects/responsibilities and other duties as assigned
