Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Minimum of 2 years inbound/outbound call experience in a customer service or manufacturing environment
- High level of attention to detail
- Previous experience as customer service rep, receptionist, call center agent, data entry clerk, or other similar role
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to analyze problems and solve work related issues
- Job involves working in front of computer screen
- Solid attendance and reliable
- Accountable, quality driven
- High level of professionalism and solutions based decisions
- Team oriented with a solution mentality
- Familiar with MS Word, Excel, Outlook (Microsoft Suite)
Responsibilities
- Answering inbound phone calls in a professional and helpful manner
- Making outbound phone calls in response to any inquiries, questions, or other follow up
- Confirms account number, part number & descriptions
- Communication to customer on availability, open orders, and ship dates
- Confirms pricing & availability
- Answer customer service inquiries, phones or emails as assigned and meets statistical expectations as set by supervisor (refer to grid)
- Supports administrative duties on sending and receiving supplier purchase orders
- Ability to multi-task issuing credits and rebills according to policy and procedure
- Prioritize projects/responsibilities and other duties as assigned
