- Experience in leading strategy, development, and operations of a global payments platform
- Strong understanding of payments infrastructure and processor-agnostic architecture
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, compliance, and business teams
- Experience in ensuring high platform availability and fault tolerance through robust system design
- Proven track record in driving continuous improvement in transaction success rates and authorization performance
Responsibilities
- Lead the vision, roadmap, and execution for Xero’s global payments platform
- Architect and evolve the platform to be processor-agnostic
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and GTM teams
- Ensure high platform availability and fault tolerance
- Drive continuous improvement in transaction success rates and authorization performance
- Evaluate and integrate new global payment processors, methods, and networks
- Hire, mentor, and grow high-performing teams of engineering and product leaders
- Represent the payments platform in senior leadership forums
