Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field and 4 years’ experience in retail, merchandising, forecasting, or related area
- OR 6 years’ experience in retail, merchandising, forecasting, or related area
- Strong understanding of financials
- Ability to translate complex information into user-friendly insights
Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy development for merchandise categories
- Drive sales growth while maintaining profitability
- Develop category level budgets using historical trends
- Foster a team culture of adherence and accountability to plans
- Provide data-driven insights to influence key initiatives and strategies
- Evaluate and review business performance through analytics
- Become a valuable strategic partner by collaborating on solutions
- Communicate effectively to achieve leadership alignment and influence stakeholders
- Navigate ambiguous environments with multiple stakeholders and competing KPIs
