Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in machining operations.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation.
- Experience with milling, turning, grinding, and/or hobbing processes.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial bore indicators, and depth gauges.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility to work on second shift if needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate multiple machines simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor the quality of finished products and make necessary adjustments to meet specifications.
- Collaborate with other machinists and technicians to resolve any issues or problems that may arise during production.
- Maintain and clean machine tools regularly to keep them in good condition.
- Adjust tooling and workholding devices to accommodate different materials and product designs.
- Load and unload machines manually or using hoists.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing productivity and reducing waste.
