Requirements
- Must possess a DDS/DMD degree from an institution accredited by CODA (the Commission on Dental Accreditation)
- Must have completed a minimum of two years in a dental anesthesiology residency program accredited by CODA or accepted by the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology
- Extensive experience in providing general anesthesia and sedation for diverse dental and maxillofacial surgical procedures performed on patients of all ages including pediatrics
- Must be board certified or an active candidate for certification
- Must be eligible for dental licensure with a General Anesthesia endorsement in Ohio
Responsibilities
- Pre-doctoral and resident education with an emphasis in anesthesiology and pharmacology
- Participating in the school’s intramural practice
- Opportunity to practice in the hospital’s main operating rooms
Preferred Qualifications
- An advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in an area that is directly related to anesthesiology is desired, but not required
