Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in an applied research setting, or similar.
- Experience working with consumer facing products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a prioritized research roadmap aligned with product strategy and with larger business objectives.
- Plan and execute research with minimal supervision from scoping, planning, recruiting, to execution, and reporting.
- Derive foundational and tactical user insights utilizing various methods, including but not limited to interviews, diary studies, workshops, lit reviews, usability testing and surveys.
- Be able to design and run surveys and conduct basic statistical analysis on survey data.
- Analyze, synthesize, and interpret study findings into key insights and deliver cross-functional stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling way.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field.
- Experience in Privacy or Regulatory spaces, sensitive topics, and youth related research.
- Strong people, communication, and collaboration skills, including experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to independently scope, execute, analyze, synthesize both qualitative and large-scale quantitative studies.
