Requirements
- Ability to obtain a Full Scope Polygraph
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 10+ years of experience developing, negotiating and executing complex USG contracts and subcontracts under USG primes
- 10+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships
- 10+ years of experience working with acquisition policies, e.g., USG Federal Acquisition Regulation/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (FAR/DFARS) regulations
Responsibilities
- Exercises appropriate signature authority, oversees and participates with a strategic perspective in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of E&IS products, and services
- Prepares, negotiates, executes, interprets and administers legally binding contractual agreements for The Boeing Company
- Summarizes highly complex contractual issues, oversees and consults on the development of creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigation
- Represents the company in external negotiations to a broad set of customers including but not limited to the U.S. Government (USG), international, commercial entities, and public/private institutions
- Coordinates flow-down and flow-up of prime terms and conditions with supplier management
- Facilitates prompt payment and support the achievement of company financial goals and objectives
- Ensures strategic alignment and partnership with other internal functional disciplines
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
- Experience with both competitive and non-competitive proposal development
- Ability to perform with a significant amount of autonomy and exercise good judgment in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
- Ability to advise all levels of management on contractual rights and obligations, risk avoidance and mitigation, strategy, and problem solving
- Ability to mentor and guide less experienced personnel
