Requirements

  • Experience conducting or overseeing workplace violence investigations, including threat assessment and behavioral analysis
  • Experience in preparing and delivering protective risk assessments for executive travel, corporate events, and high-risk environments
  • Familiarity with industry-standard threat assessment methodologies (e.g. WAVR-21, ATAP principles) and protective intelligence technology platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to prepare detailed investigative reports, threat assessments and executive briefings
  • Proficiency in analyzing intelligence, incident data and behavioral indicators to identify emerging risks and trends
  • Ability to build cross functional partnerships with HR, Legal Risk, Facilities and external law enforcement or intelligence organizations
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental health and safety programs and emergency response protocols
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
  • Demonstrated experience and performance in exercising sound judgment during crisis and issuing clear communication under stress
  • Extensive experience in interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills with ability to interact internally and externally with executive level management on all matters requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters
  • Extensive analytical experience to develop metrics that guide AmFam
  • Ability to develop processes to monitor key performance indicators, determine gaps in performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage a risk intelligence program focused on awareness, identification, and remediation aimed at identifying internal and external risks (existing or potential) across various corporate functions, developing solutions to address these gaps.
  • Serve as the principal lead in the formulation of investigative policies, standards, procedures, and the implementation of investigation analysis.
  • Develop new workflow processes to ensure that investigations are handled efficiently without reducing the level of quality reporting.
  • Establish metrics for each type of investigation, evaluates the outcomes, and reports the results.
  • Identify, develop, and manage requirements for all procurement activities for corporate investigations.
  • Create a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by facilitating and fostering trust, transparency, and inclusion. Work with team members to set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support on-going development.
  • Lead with influence and expertise. Actively contribute to division or department leadership team while communicating and supporting organization mission, vision, values, policies, and practices.
