Requirements

- A medical assistant certification or completed an accredited medical assistant certification program and obtain a medical assistant registration or certification within six months of hire
- A phlebotomy certification or obtain one within six months of hire
- A Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification or obtain one within 30 days of hire
- An active Arizona fingerprint clearance card
Responsibilities
- Establish a strong rapport with the patient, to include delivering an exceptional patient care experience
- Prepare patients for their visit to include communicating details around their scheduled visit, explaining all relevant information clearly, take vitals, and complete updates to patient record as required
- Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and ensure clean instruments are available for the daily care center operations
- Assist provider with medical treatments, procedures, and exams
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Working hours include morning, night, or weekend hours
- This position requires 100% on-site work at the care center location and may also involve movement between clinics as needed
