Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in health care sales
  • 5+ years of quota achieving success selling enterprise software and technology
  • Deep experience and success penetrating National and large Regional Payers in the US
  • Strong sense of urgency, with the drive and knowledge to navigate multi-level relationships with complex customers
  • Deep understanding of needs-based selling strategies and ability to uncover underlying customer objections and concerns
  • Strong analytical thinker with the ability to clearly articulate a value proposition that resonates with a prospect organization and its buyers
  • Thorough understanding of the consultative, customer-focused approach to the sales process
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry conferences, events and internal training/meetings

Responsibilities

  • Develop business from new prospects
  • Lead full sales cycle
  • Generate sustained pipeline growth in line with profiles defined by the subject matter experts
  • Identify opportunities; leverage subject matter experts to understand synergies between customer needs and SS&C’s solutions
  • Work with subject matter experts to deliver a solution across SS&C’s portfolio of capability (technology and services)
  • Carry out demo(s), gather customer data and liaise with internal stakeholders to create presentation decks, materials, proposals and pricing, client reference introductions, executive leadership introductions, etc.
  • Manage relationship between customer and internal stakeholders
  • Close deals and maintain relationship for growth
  • Collaborate with SS&C enterprise to identify ways to expand client partnerships across all business segments
  • Developing contact database, relationship plans, and account development plans
  • Manage and grow a pipeline of 4-5x to successfully achieve and exceed quota expectations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive rolodex and connections in the industry preferred
  • Relationships with C-Suite in large, key health plan
