Requirements
- Undergraduate degree with excellent academic record required, ideally in engineering; advanced degree in similar field a plus
- 4+ years of relevant experience in the mining industry, within operational mining/mining management
- Experience in data analysis and interest in developing new approaches to mining data analysis and application to operational improvement
- Outstanding performance track record and career development
- Strong business and industry acumen
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills in English, additional fluency in Spanish a plus
Responsibilities
- Leverage industry knowledge and expertise within operational mining to solve complex issues at clients
- Identify issues, form hypotheses, design and conduct analysis, synthesize conclusions into recommendations, and help implement change with clients
- Be involved in discussions and presentations with client team members and leadership
- Lead or contribute to knowledge development initiatives to expand mining capabilities
- Develop and maintain a strong internal reputation and network with client teams
- Work as a team member on subjects ranging from strategy and operations to conducting due diligence
- Deploy AI and digital analytics to improve processes within the plant and work on operations topics to redesign processes of the plant
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in similar field a plus
- Additional fluency in Spanish a plus
