Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering plus 8 years relevant experience or advanced Electrical Engineering degree plus 5 years relevant experience
- Experience with electrical engineering design to include troubleshooting, analysis, and test
- Experience with commonly used electrical engineering design and analysis tools including but not limited to: Altium
- Experience with commonly used test equipment including but not limited to: Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters
- Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics
- Experience with SPLC and SEMI S2 Safety Compliance
Responsibilities
- Teamwork to understand design requirements
- Electronics design
- Design reviews participation
- Firmware development
- Motion control
- Thermal control
- Laser and light source controls
- Coordination with circuit board manufacturing vendors
- Support for production of released and new electronics designs
- Management of obsoleted components on legacy designs
- Regulatory certifications (CE, NRTL, RoHS…)
Preferred Qualifications
- Analog and digital design and analysis
- Circuit board layout and electrical schematic creation (Altium)
- Electrical/electronics system troubleshooting
- FPGA programming
- Background in design for manufacturability
- Familiarity with IPC-WHMA-A-620A for cable design and drawing
- C/C++ for embedded systems programming
- HTML5
- Texas Instruments RTOS
- Effective communication
