Requirements
- 16+ years of program management experience
- Experience managing a DoD program similar in contract value and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer, Electrical, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Astronautical, or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Physics and all other engineering majors)
- Secret Security Clearance
Responsibilities
- Leading and directing the staff in the execution of $350M+ contract
- Serving as the primary interface to the government contracting office and engineering technical stakeholders
- Organizing the team, coordinating staffing efforts, and re-balancing efforts to ensure priority efforts are fully staffed and effectively executing, maximizing potential for outstanding technical and management performance
- Controlling cost and labor hour execution within ceilings and ensuring deliverables are provided within the required timeline
- Engaging with customers to ensure the team is meeting both technical support and contract execution needs
- Proactively engaging with customers to identify opportunities for organic growth on the existing contract
- Tracking opportunities for follow-on work opportunities to ensure continuation of efforts for the engineering staff
- Establishing trust with the government customers, across the Parsons staff, and with our subcontract partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) domain
- Active TS clearance, eligible for SCI (if either is required)
- Large contract start-up/transition-in
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
- Personnel management and staff development experience.
