Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and one year of experience as a Work Leader, Team Lead, Project Manager of Supervisor OR Bachelor’s Degree
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
- Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
- Requires full body motion, including ability to perform work while lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, stooping, crouching, squatting and reaching
- Requires regular handling and use of disinfectants and other cleaning agents and chemicals
- Light Work – Exerting 11 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects
Responsibilities
- Supervise the functions, daily operations and caregivers in the Environmental Services department
- Provide effective utilization of personnel, policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe and attractive environment
- Continuously inspect assigned areas to ensure high quality cleaning and maintenance is being performed
- Maintain staffing levels and approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests
- Ensure cross coverage
- Coordinate and provide orientation, education and training
- Improve procedures and processes
