Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Former military intelligence with 12+ years’ experience
- National War College – scenario and courseware development experience
- Understanding and experience with the Operational Environment (OE), OPFOR and DOTMLPF-P
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
Responsibilities
- Responsible for analyzing current and future operational environments to support concept writers and capability developers designing the future force.
- Evaluate and assess State and Non-state actor threats for near-term and deep future wargames.
- Conducts research to identify and evaluate emerging trends and technologies impact on the operational environment.
- Serves as futures expert for threat cyber and electronic warfare capabilities.
- In coordination with the OEE and the IC, identify and analyze threats to U.S. national interests. Conduct research and studies to describe these future threat strategies, doctrine, and capabilities.
- Conduct research and studies to define the scope and context of the OE.
- Provide OE and threat expertise by analyzing the current OE and assist in presentation of the OE.
- Assist in analyzing plans, force organizations, equipment and capabilities projected into the timeframe specified for a future warfighting event.
- Provide review and comments of Army, Other Service Joint, and Department of Defense concepts, manuals, regulations, and other documents as requested. Staff comments across the OEE.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred
- Acquisition DAWIA certification level II preferred
- Understanding of DOTMLPF-P, Army experimentation, TEMP/T&E
