Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent qualification is required
- At least 1 year of prior dispatch experience required
- Must be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with life safety systems and emergency response protocols
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls related to maintenance and repair needs for on-site and off-site properties, logging details into the system
- Allocate work orders to engineering personnel based on the information received from calls
- Monitor fire alarm panels and other safety system alerts, identify the affected area, and promptly dispatch engineering teams to address the situation
- Record all employee call-ins and direct them to the appropriate department or staff for follow-up
- Maintain a detailed dispatch log to track all actions and activities throughout the day for accountability and transparency
- Accurately document time and activities during emergency events to ensure proper record-keeping and coordination
