Requirements
- Experience with DoD IA security compliance policies, programs, process, and metrics
- Experience running manual or automated cyber security scanning tools, such as ACAS, Solar Winds, or SNMP
- Experience implementing STIGs and IAVAs
- Knowledge of DoD cyber security requirements and RMF methodologies
- Ability to evaluate network and systems to integrate new technologies and recommend to Information System Owner critical requirements for mission and exercise execution
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
- CISSP certification
Responsibilities
- Work with military leaders to discover their cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan
- Review technical and personnel details from SMEs or engineers to assess the entire threat landscape
- Guide clients through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones
- Translate security concepts for clients to help them make informed decisions
- Plan and implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data
- Ensure systems are functioning properly, meet business needs, and remain secure
- Install and configure hardware and software
- Troubleshoot issues and manage user access
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience configuring and maintaining Windows, Linux, Cisco, and Juniper
- Experience preparing certification and accreditation packages leading successfully to an Authority to Operate (ATO)
- Knowledge of networked systems and implementing Windows, Linux, Cisco, and Juniper updates
- Top Secret clearance
