Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
  • OR Associate’s degree or equivalent degree and 5+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
  • OR High school Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support the evolution of Qualcomm brand identity, brand messaging, brand positioning to build a strong and powerful B2B brand.
  • Conduct secondary research to gather insights about market trends and competitive positioning to inform brand strategies and brand campaigns as needed.
  • Support brand architecture, naming and other strategic brand needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop names for new products and programs, ensuring alignment with Qualcomm’s overall brand strategy.
  • Ensure brand guidelines are updated to support evolution and extensions of the brand.
  • Oversee brand asset development process from creative briefing, stakeholder management, project management to approvals and communications.
  • Partner with creative agencies and in-house creative teams to drive creative excellence and operational efficiencies.
  • Build out project plans that ensure critical milestones are met in the most efficient manner.
  • Champion brand consistency, working collaboratively with functional teams ensuring that marketing materials adhere to the brand guidelines, globally.
  • Provide brand guidance and strategic support to all internal teams fostering a strong brand advocacy culture within the organization.
  • Share regular brand updates with internal teams and agencies through brand newsletters and trainings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10+ years of experience in Brand or Marketing related fields
  • Prior experience providing marketing or brand support in B2B industry
  • Strong understanding of branding principles including naming, brand platform, brand architecture, brand positioning, brand identity and brand governance
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to bring new ideas to the table
  • Professional presence and ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to execute and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational abilities and experience in managing creative agencies
  • Strong knowledge of creative development process from briefing to file types
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with active listening abilities
  • Strong presentation development skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with global teammates in multiple regions
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and able to work both independently and within teams.
