Requirements
- Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data
- An associate degree in general office occupations and one year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support and coordination to the Training Department
- Create schedules
- Provide reports
- Enter training data into various computer programs
- Ensure the smooth operation of the department.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using personal computers, entering and retrieving information to include electronic mail and spreadsheets.
- Experience performing a variety of clerical functions at a technical or secretarial support level requiring decision-making within established laws, rules, policies and procedures.
- Experience applying laws, rules, policies, procedures, and applicable Collective Bargaining Agreements
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of agency records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant interruptions.
