Requirements

  • Proven experience in a renewals role, preferably in a leadership position.
  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team, with a focus on performance management and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Create and collaborate with the sales team and other business leaders to drive renewal rates and minimize churn.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve renewal rates and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Monitor and manage customer portfolios to ensure timely renewals.
  • Identify upsell opportunities and collaborate with sales teams to maximize revenue.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to promote contract renewals.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the renewal process.
  • Negotiate renewal terms with clients and coordinate with sales teams.
  • Track and report on renewal activities and trends.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of the company’s products and services.
  • Identify risks of contract cancellations and develop strategies to avoid them.
  • Work closely with various teams like customer service, billing, and sales to ensure the renewal process is smooth.
  • Manage and lead a team of renewal specialists, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the technology or software industry.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of revenue management.
