Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with Systems Engineering on Major Defense Acquisition Programs to develop space, ground, software or hardware systems
- 5+ years of experience developing and managing an integrated, end-to-end IMS, including the schedule of key integration, test, and transition to operation activities and critical paths, to analyze schedule impacts and recommend corrective actions
- Knowledge of scheduling tools, including One Pager Pro, Milestones Professional, or Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Project Server, SharePoint, and Excel
- Ability to gather data from multiple sources and stakeholders across the program and display it in a useful manner for the customer
- Ability to communicate, coordinate, and concurrently manage several Enterprise and Program-level schedules and IMS
- Ability to establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers, and associate contractor teammates
- Ability to self-motivate and learn in a high stress and rapidly changing environment
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
Responsibilities
- Produce schedules and perform System of Systems Integration (SoSI) efforts, such as Effectivity determination or Enterprise Integration Plans
- Test, analyze, evaluate, validate, and verify systems
- Identify areas requiring urgent mitigation up front and early to develop systems with advanced technology solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing systems engineering, program management, and schedule and development activities on remote sensing systems
- Experience managing the annual schedule activities for remote sensing sustainment programs, working with large amounts of data, and utilizing metrics to improve processes and ensure consistency and standardization across the organization
- Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02
- Knowledge of space systems and the corresponding design, development, manufacturing, integration and test, deployment, operations, and decommissioning activities
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master’s degree in Business or Engineering
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) Certification
