Requirements

  • 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited university and/or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, treasury, accounting, or related field, or a combination of advanced education, experience and credentials
  • High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
  • Completes projects on-time with minimal supervision, can work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of analysts in developing short and long term financial plans and budgets for each department
  • Develop and maintain planning models that allow for scenario modeling and forecasts
  • Conduct regular reviews with department leadership to review controllable spend and identify opportunities for future savings
  • Collaborate with all departments on goals, budgets, forecasts, results, and future plans
  • Support the development of Breeze’s farm team of analytical talent that can grow into leadership roles in finance, operations, commercial and people opportunities
  • Train, coach and mentor new analysts and interns to meet FP&A performance expectations
  • Analyze competitive results and positioning, helping to identify industry best practices and opportunities
  • Build and cultivate trust with other leaders in the organization
  • Bring new thinking and ways of approaching old problems, including documenting current processes and identifying creative solutions from outside of the travel industry
  • Assist accounting by aligning expenses appropriately to build out activity-based cost accounting models
  • Create, and lead analysts in creating ad-hoc analyses for operational, commercial, and administrative projects
  • Develop dashboards and metrics for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined by FP&A leadership
  • Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with various BI tools, especially PowerBI
  • Experience with SQL/Python
  • Advanced degree or certifications a plus
