Requirements

  • BS degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or other related discipline, preferred.
  • Generally 4+ years progressive experience in Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Operations.
  • Experience managing multiple direct reports.
  • Experience with ERP systems required.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Suite including Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail oriented and thorough.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate and influence cross-functionally.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic oversight of daily production operations, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and cost while driving operational excellence.
  • Leads and mentors Production Supervisors and teams or complex production lines.
  • Supports cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
  • Champions continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Plays a key role in workforce planning, employee development, and succession readiness.
  • Enforces strict compliance with production processes, company policies and regulatory compliance.
  • Cultivates a high-performance, engaged team culture focuses on accountability and innovation.
  • Leads and coordinates daily production operations across multiple teams and shifts, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently achieved.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
  • Partners cross-functionally with engineering, quality, maintenance and supply chain to resolve production issues and support process changes.
  • Mentors and develops frontline supervisors and team members, supporting performance management, training and succession planning initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, EHS regulations, and industry standards through regular audits, corrective actions, and safety leadership.
  • Uses data to control and improve production processes, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
  • Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plans for production issues.
  • Tracks progress toward department KPIs and enterprise goals using Visual Management tools (KPI boards, Tier meetings).
  • Establishes SMART objectives linked to plant and strategic goals and follows through on execution.
  • Other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
