Requirements
- BS degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or other related discipline, preferred.
- Generally 4+ years progressive experience in Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Operations.
- Experience managing multiple direct reports.
- Experience with ERP systems required.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Suite including Microsoft Excel.
- Detail oriented and thorough.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and influence cross-functionally.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provides strategic oversight of daily production operations, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and cost while driving operational excellence.
- Leads and mentors Production Supervisors and teams or complex production lines.
- Supports cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
- Champions continuous improvement initiatives.
- Plays a key role in workforce planning, employee development, and succession readiness.
- Enforces strict compliance with production processes, company policies and regulatory compliance.
- Cultivates a high-performance, engaged team culture focuses on accountability and innovation.
- Leads and coordinates daily production operations across multiple teams and shifts, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently achieved.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
- Partners cross-functionally with engineering, quality, maintenance and supply chain to resolve production issues and support process changes.
- Mentors and develops frontline supervisors and team members, supporting performance management, training and succession planning initiatives.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, EHS regulations, and industry standards through regular audits, corrective actions, and safety leadership.
- Uses data to control and improve production processes, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
- Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plans for production issues.
- Tracks progress toward department KPIs and enterprise goals using Visual Management tools (KPI boards, Tier meetings).
- Establishes SMART objectives linked to plant and strategic goals and follows through on execution.
