Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing and category management, with a strong focus on software (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, etc.) and related services.
- Proven ability to manage complex, high-value sourcing projects and RFx processes.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, with experience in commercial and contractual matters.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with spend analysis and market research.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills – able to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Experience managing relationships with senior leadership.
- Proficiency in using procurement tools and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for software, including SaaS applications and emerging technologies.
- Lead and execute complex Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotes (RFQs), and other formal sourcing methodologies.
- Negotiate favorable commercial terms and conditions, mitigating risk and ensuring compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving mutual success.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across various business units, providing expert guidance on procurement strategies and best practices.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and maximize value from our software spend.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of achieving significant cost reductions and delivering tangible financial benefits to the business.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience in IT or professional services such as solution architecture, network design, or systems integration.
