Requirements
- Graduate of an approved, accredited A.R.R.T. program
- Documented mammography training
- At least one year mammography experience required
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification
- Mammography certification required (ARRT-M)
- Licensed as a radiologic technologist by the SCRQSA
- CPR certification required
Responsibilities
- Perform all Mammography procedures in accordance with ACR, TDH, MQSA, state regulations, and departmental policies
- Operate sophisticated equipment for mammography examinations
- Responsible for QA maintenance
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Prepare for surveys and maintain competencies
- Exhibit expertise in patient care based on needs appropriate for all patient demographics
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of diagnostic radiology experience preferred
- 0-2 years of independent mammography experience preferred
