Pack Room Technician

Associates degree preferred but not required.
3-5 years of technical support experience in an industrial environment; prior experience in extrusion, plastics, and tooling is a plus.
Experience using hand and power tools is required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members of varying technical expertise.
Ability to proactively coordinate with cross-functional teams and adapt to rapid changes.
Understanding and application of basic mechanical principles, including heat transfer, pressure, and flow.
Willingness to work overtime or non-standard hours to support 24/7 operations and to participate in on-call rotation.
Must be able to work in extreme heat conditions.
Good basic math and reading skills are necessary.
Basic computer and technology skills are required.
Must be team-oriented and responsive to customer needs.

Provide skilled maintenance support to proactively identify and prevent potential failure points in the operation of spinning equipment.
Contribute to the enhancement of our maintenance management system through Root Cause Analysis, while focusing on resolving errors with a preventive mindset.
Ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of packs, filters, and other components, prioritizing craftsmanship, timeliness, and attention to detail.
Support and engage in our ISO/TS quality management system by maintaining equipment to high standards and providing constructive feedback to the maintenance management system to avoid any deviations in critical quality processes.
Perform on call duties on a rotating basis.
Act as a resource for questions and guidance regarding the site’s extrusion melt equipment technology and components.
Assist with managing contractors and vendors related to necessary materials and services.
