Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and update training materials, Coursewares, Training documents, and instructional videos/media.
  • Assist with structured onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Identify skill gaps and develop targeted training programs to improve employee performance.
  • Develop role-specific training modules with defined skill requirements and performance criteria.
  • Collaborate with department leads to establish clear progression paths and promotion readiness criteria.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and classroom-style instruction.
  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to employees at all levels.
  • Utilize a variety of training methods, including e-learning, job shadowing, and simulations.
  • Create training materials including manuals, job aids, e-learning modules, and visual work instructions.
  • Deliver hands-on and classroom-based training to employees at all skill levels.
  • Ensure all employees receive mandatory safety and regulatory training.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA, FDA, ISO, and other relevant Clorox standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed training and certifications.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Work with supervisors and managers to align training with production goals.
  • Recommend process improvements based on training outcomes and industry best practices.
  • Act as a liaison between management, HR, and production teams to ensure training aligns with business objectives.
  • Train and mentor line supervisors or designated trainers to support training efforts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to enhance Learning programs.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate skill proficiency and readiness for level advancement.
  • Maintain accurate records of training completion, skill certifications, and progression through blocks/levels.
  • Provide regular feedback to employees and supervisors on development progress.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing or managing Skill Block/Level Progression program is highly desirable.
  • Basic understanding of process improvement principles and methodologies, such as Toyota Production Systems (TPS) and/or Lean Six Sigma is preferred.
  • Education Level/Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Education, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. (e.g., 5+ years in training roles within manufacturing).
  • Professional certifications in training, instructional design, or process improvement preferred: e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Train-the-Trainer, or Lean Six Sigma certifications.
