Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 8 years of related experience, or a Master’s Degree and 6 years of related experience, or a PhD and 4 years of related experience, or 12 years related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
- Java experience
- Knowledge of software practices and coding standards
- Strong problem solving skills, including the ability to review performance issues, identify root cause, recommend and develop a solution.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Product Owner of the GloMA team on the C2BMC JEMINI program.
- Primarily responsible for software development using Java.
- Interact with other people using good verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently or with a small group.
- Be flexible in a highly dynamic and ever-changing environment.
- Provide leadership for a software team that performs in-depth analysis and technical support of a large, distributed system written in Java.
- Perform complex problem resolution assisting software team in design, development, testing, integration, and user-support for a large code baseline.
- Follow specifications in order to develop or modify stories for the software team to work.
- Assist in removing blockers from software team.
- Interface with other system support groups and software leadership to resolve problems, set standards and improve overall efficiency of the system.
Preferred Qualifications
- Command and control system application development
- Previous experience with message translation software
- Automated test and pipeline development experience
- Experience developing software for Unix/Linux and Windows platforms
- Experience with Software Integration testing including developing automated test scripts
- Experience with Risk Management Framework/STIG/Fortify mitigation
- Prior experience designing and developing microservices and deploying with containers; experience setting up a container environment
- Security+ certification
