Airfoil Casting Tooling Project Manager

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or institution (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing or a supply chain related function)
A minimum of 3 additional years’ experience in a manufacturing or a supply chain related function

Manage airfoil casting tooling through entire life cycle from quote to retirement to support delivery schedules
Project manage tooling to ensure tooling is built and qualified to support our delivery schedules
Interface and lead engagements with other adjacent functions (Quality, Engineering, Commercial Ops, Compliance, Finance, etc.) to provide ensure tooling qualification per defined milestones
Review ongoing performance to milestones, evaluate misses and work to identify and deploy corrective measures with accountable leaders and/or escalate issues as necessary
Develop supplier relationships to drive effective partnerships
Support daily management processes & standard work for airfoil castings vendors
Ownership of tooling KPIs (including budget), standard work and operating rhythms
Communicate complex messages to internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment
Drive continuous improvement projects focused on the tooling value stream
Develops and proposes different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems
