Requirements
- Associates Degree or at least 5 years of working experience in the field.
Responsibilities
- Instructor will be preparing for online course start by making sure class is organized and that there are no problems with the functionality of the course.
- Preparing video lessons for each unit, making sure that the syllabus is up to date and all information is ready for the term.
- Give instruction for concepts pertaining the Medical Billing and Coding.
- Maintain a positive learning environment.
- Instructor will receive coaching and support for presentation and teaching in the online space.
- Maintain office hours and ways to communicate with students when questions may arise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Health Information Management
- 10 years experience in Medical Billing and Coding-Inpatient and Outpatient and familiar with revenue cycle management.
- Previous instruction experience.
- CCS, CCS-P, CPC, RHIA, RHIT
