Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree AND minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR Advanced degree with 2 years relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement dynamic risk models and thresholds aligned with Medtronic’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) strategy and objectives.
  • Architect, automate, and maintain live dashboards and key risk indicators (KRIs) using Power BI, Power Automate, Snowflake, and related tools.
  • Design and build APIs and live data integrations to consolidate risk data from both internal and external sources, including third-party risk platforms.
  • Apply advanced data analysis and AI modeling techniques to identify patterns, detect emerging risks, and support risk-informed decision-making.
  • Support the identification, assessment, and prioritization of critical enterprise-wide risks using Medtronic’s ERM Framework.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support the Operational Risk program across key domains such as Site, Supply Chain, IT, and Business Continuity.
  • Manage and deliver medium- to large-scale projects, ensuring on-time and high-quality execution that meets stakeholder expectations.
  • Translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations and presentations for internal partners and senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven technical data skills, including experience with: Building complex datasets and large-scale algorithmic calculations, developing AI models for risk assessment, and creating and managing APIs and data pipelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data-driven insights.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with experience managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Change management experience and a strong process improvement orientation.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills with the ability to create compelling presentations for all levels of the organization.
  • Self-directed work style with strong initiative and accountability.
  • Experience aligning technical solutions to strategic business needs.
  • Strategic thinking mindset, particularly in the context of enterprise and operational risk.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Experience with risk management platforms such as AuditBoard, LogicGate, or ServiceNow.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional language proficiency is a plus.
