Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Design or a related field
- Demonstrated expertise in current and emerging design process, visualization, graphic communication, and drawing
- Five years of prior teaching experience, preferably at the university level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive educational environment
Responsibilities
- Delivering engaging and informative lectures to undergraduate students enrolled in Design Fundamentals 1 and 2, as well as Visualization as Thinking
- Providing regular office hours to offer academic support, guidance, and clarification to students
- Assessing and grading assignments, projects, and examinations in a timely manner
- Submitting final grades in accordance with university policies and deadlines
- Participating in the development and enhancement of curriculum content, ensuring alignment with industry standards and emerging trends
- Collaborating with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive and integrated learning experience for students
- Engaging with students to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, addressing inquiries and concerns
- Staying informed about advancements in design process, graphic communication, visualization, composition, color theory, and drawing through continuous learning and professional development
