Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Or HS diploma and 6 years of relevant experience.
- Foundational knowledge of software troubleshooting and installation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, self-supervisory, and results oriented.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and strong verbal/written communication skills.
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- The ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Responsibilities
- Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
- Interact with users.
- Make recommendations to purchase hardware and software.
- Coordinate installation and provide backup recovery.
- Ensure workstation data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
- Conduct routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration/library of all supporting documentation.
- Process DD2875s.
- Setting up user and service accounts.
- Maintain system documentation.
- Install system wide software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced in TOAP Web, TMIS, Teamcenter systems.
- General experience with DoD networks.
